This northern California home carefully blends the modern architecture with an equally sophisticated outdoor living environment. The living room of the residence opens to a large wooden patio with concrete steps circulation throughout the yard. An outdoor firepit provides a communal refuge from the cool foggy nights and mornings of the northern bay area.
A horizontal panel wooden fence reinforces the flat roof of the architecture. Upright palms and grasses create a contrasting dialogue between the horizontal elements softening the simple yet bold moves of the architecture.
