This design transforms a mundane backyard lawn into a vibrant low water oasis in the heart of the Los Angeles suburbia. A horizontal wood panel fence serves as the backdrop for the numerous sculptural plantings.
A diagonal wooden path creates a transect between the outdoor fire place, outdoor dining area and the pool. The diagonal layout creates a dynamic space to maximize use and break up the expectation of the standard suburban backyard in Los Angeles.
